Christel Alvarez

CEO & Founder

Christel Alvarez, CEO and Founder: Christel’s commitment to healthcare stems from personal journeys, fueling a passion for health and well-being. Having successfully placed over 200 professionals, she stands out as a notable leader in the healthcare ecosystem. Prior to establishing her own firm, Christel honed her search acumen at Elevation Search Solutions, an executive recruiting firm in Nashville, TN. Her early professional endeavors, including co-managing her family’s enterprises, set the stage for her entrepreneurial spirit. She further expanded her repertoire with enterprise sales and consulting roles at industry powerhouses like Canon, Iron Mountain, and ADP. Christel is a proud graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN.

Gracie Francis

Senior Associate

Bringing a dynamic approach to our strategies, Gracie steers research, recruiting, and business development efforts for the firm. She found her passion for recruiting shortly after entering the workforce and gravitated towards healthcare after completing an internship in 2020. Gracie joined Alvarez Search in 2022 to pursue her passion and to grow the firm alongside Christel. Gracie graduated in 2020 from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BS in Communication.

Danica Elliott

Principal

As the leader of our Due Diligence and Executive Coaching services, Danica shapes strategies that enable insightful decisions and cultivate leadership growth throughout organizations. Her core expertise encompasses pre-investment due diligence, executive talent assessments, coaching initiatives, and post-acquisition Human Capital support. Previously, Danica played pivotal roles at Frazier Healthcare Partners, transitioned from Director of Human Capital to leading Human Capital for Frazier’s early-stage Life Sciences ventures. Earlier in her career, she ventured into management consulting and helmed a marketing consultancy dedicated to strategic growth solutions. Danica holds an MBA from the Darden School, University of Virginia, a BFA from SUNY New Paltz, and possesses multiple certifications in executive coaching and assessment methodologies.

Maggie Burrows

Executive Assistant

Integral to our operations, Maggie ensures exceptional service by facilitating seamless communication and organization. As an experienced executive assistant, she has supported startups, small businesses, and C-suite executives. She is originally from the Netherlands and holds a BS in Int’l Facilities Management and Business Administration from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences.
